Ask Me Anything with Entrepreneur & Venture Capitalist, Evan Tana

Evan opened up and shared with us some of his most important advice for early stage founders looking to raise their own seed. To begin with, he encourages every founder, and even himself, to be able to answer the three “why” questions before looking for investors or investing — why you, why now, and why us?

  • Distance X. Services that are being accelerated toward remote delivery.
  • Digitizing old industries. He’s attracted to the un-sexy and likes investing in products that focus on things that are overlooked, but necessary.
  • Work smarter and better. Most enterprises have the first order of tools in place, but fundamentally they’re not as efficient as they should be. He looks for tools and services that help teams work smarter and better.
